Ray Lamontagne Portland Concert reviews
Excellent show!
Ray put on a wonderful show at the Performing Arts Center in Charleston! I saw him a couple of years ago in Charlotte at an outdoor venue that I usually love, but the crowd was very loud and obnoxious, drunkenly shouting requests and such, and while his performance was still great, I definitely think it affected his mood. Not so this time! This venue was the perfect intimate setting for an artist like Ray and the show was really perfection. Excellent sound mixing and a simple but beautiful stage set-up allowed his buttery voice and his lovely songs to really shine!! Great setlist spanning his career, too. If you get the opportunity to go see him, don’t miss it!
